NaNoWriMo 2019
NaNoWriMo is during the month of November. NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and although every year I have plans of participating and doing an amazing job of writing a book that jumps on the bestseller’s list, I rarely accomplish anything and feel disappointed for the following six months.
This year, I am breaking my NaNoWriMo into smaller chunks and multiple goals, so that if I don’t accomplish the entire thing, at least I can mark some milestones that I was able to accomplish.
First thing is, I’m not going to write a novel. That is unrealistic for me and my attention span. However what is (hopefully) realistic is putting out a blog post regularly. My goal, although I say this all the time, is to publish one post a day throughout this month.
Yes, I’m painfully aware that I have already missed the first four days of the months, but I can’t live in the past and just have to push forward towards the future!
I have lots of resources to help me and hopefully I will be successful.
My next posts are going to vary from the regular posts, some posts from writing prompts that I have from books, and some from my travels.
Which by the way, I am currently on a business trip with the husband in downtown Detroit. I’m from here so it’s cool to be staying in a hotel downtown like a tourist.
Which I am going to write about…right now!!!!
See, I can do this. Stay tuned for my next article coming up….soon?
This song was playing while I was writing this post. GIving me all the inspo!
